LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton cites her experience as a compelling reason voters should make her president, but nearly 2 million pages of documents covering her White House years are locked up in a building here, obscuring a large swath of her record as first lady.

Clinton's calendars, appointment logs and memos are stored at her husband's presidential library, in the custody of federal archivists who do not expect them to be released until after the 2008 presidential election.

A trove of records has been made public detailing the Clinton White House's attempts to remake the nation's healthcare system, following a request from Bill Clinton that those materials be released first. Hillary Clinton led the healthcare effort in 1993 and 1994.

Fresh from her weekly mocking of the Bush Administration as having much hidden under its carpet, Hillary Clinton, aka Hillabeans, proceeds to make sure that all of her hidden skeletons remain safely tucked away from public view until after the upcoming election A story in The Kansas City Star states that Hill’s White House documents won’t be released until late 2008. It is nice to see that the woman who complains daily that President Bush spends half his time hiding things from the American people spends all her time doing the same. If Hillary’s closet is so pristine, why not reveal it for all to see? Could it be that this closet has enough skeletons to fill a cemetery? Perhaps said skeletons would have an easier time being elected should the contents of Hillary’s closet be revealed before the 2008 vote.

Hillary’s current ad has been criticized by the Bush Administration as being “outrageous.” In the ad Hillabeans tells u:

"If you're a family that is struggling and you don't have health care, you are invisible to this president…If you're a single mom trying to find affordable child care so you can go to work, you're invisible too” and adds that the U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are “invisible” to Bush as well. Considering how well Hillabeans can make her dark secrets invisible, I would consider her an authority on making things invisible, all right. Here she is telling us what and who are invisible to President Bush while she makes sure much of her past is invisible to us.

Archived Clinton Records May Go Public Soon

An estimated 10,000 pages of daily schedules from Senator Clinton's tenure as first lady could be made public as soon as December, though Presidents Clinton and Bush could postpone the records' release, a National Archives official said yesterday.

"Our hope is to get it done by the end of the year," the acting director of the Clinton Presidential Library, Emily Robison, told The New York Sun. She stressed that she was only referring to the review and redaction of the records by archivists. Under the Presidential Records Act and an executive order issued by Mr. Bush, Mr. Clinton's representatives then have 90 days to review the records for materials that could be covered by executive privilege. After that review is complete, Mr. Bush has an unlimited amount of time to make his own privilege assertions.

It is unclear whether the disclosure of redacted versions of Mrs. Clinton's schedules will ultimately have significance for her bid for the Democratic presidential nomination. However, it seems likely that Mr. Clinton's former aides will have control over the timing of the process just as the nominating contest reaches its peak early next year. The political atmosphere is sure to increase pressure on the former president not to be responsible for any delay.
