Yeah, I don't miss those temperatures. Glad it's getting cooler here.

It's supposed to be around 88 and 98 today.

88 degrees and 98% humidity. Nice to get outside after the air conditioner gets you shivering.

I can handle the 88F, but you can keep the humidity. Supposed to be 68F with 52% humidity here.

It's 39* out here in the Beautiful Wild Wild West.

But, this humidity that you speak of? What is that? It sounds to be a most dreadful thing.

It keeps the skin moist and the nails healthy.

Dripping is not moist; it's way-beyond moist.

Notice how innocent Shar-Mar acts?

By the way, my thread had a conversation about Shar-Mar and Karlie a few days ago. Neither of them noticed.

Three inch heels vs sandals on a stairway....

Or was it the sharks in the aquarium?

Awww, I'm sorry! I don't follow too many of the personal threads anymore because of time. Was it about shoes? Her and I debate that all the time

Yep, it was about shoes.

And as for the high temperatures and high humidity, you can keep them both.

Deb, we were probably out getting Karlie fitted for Birks that day.

She's been wanting a few pairs for so long, now.

Shar-Mar, in my thread post about the sisters who reminded me of you and Karlie, I forgot to mention that the Birkenstock wearer admitted her sister's high heels were cute!

The best topic in this thread is Ben. So, Ben, how are you doing? How's Kayla? How's Lynn? How are your sons and daughter (we rarely hear about them these days)?

I don't disagree with you much Maggie, but many days Ben isn't that good a topic. But in the spirit of it all....

Last night I had the second part of a sleep study. Was fitted with the nasal flow CPAP device along with all the wires and sticky terminals all over my head. Several times in the night I was SOOO tempted to pull that contraption off my face.... Am doing this to be able to try to get the Pilar procedure done, that's the small rods that get inserted into the soft pallet in your throat. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep before they let me go at 4:30 this morning.

Lynn is bipolar and going through a manic stage.

Kayla is looking forward to the end of school in two weeks. She goes to Calif this summer to visit with her Mom and Dad for a couple of weeks.

There's not much to tell about the kids. Evan has still done nothing with his life. He did put in one application for a school district job but made too many mistakes on the application. He wouldn't let me help with it. Becky is still with the unemployed doper, she is working at the same store that takes advantage of her and doesn't pay her overtime. Wes is still at the winery. He and his wife are trying to save up for a down payment on a house now while the time is right.

You know what is funny - my first thought was ohhh, winery - do they ship to PA?

I'm sorry. But that is on my list of things to do for Mother's Day. I don't know if I will find a good one or not. But it was on my mind. This is this really great one, but it is out of the way for the theatre to see the movie...

Do you think I should wear my StarTrek dress to the movie?

Ben - I pray for you and yours often...

Since he ships to Texas, I'm sure he can get a bottle just about anywhere.

I didn't know they made Star Trek dresses.

Thank you, and everyone else, for the prayers.
