Then you better make sure that Christ is you Lord and Master. Your statement about Satan didn't negate your salvation if you were saved at that time. That is for you to decide if you were or not. If there is any doubt in your mind then you better discuss it with God and get right with Him.

If you were saved your stupid remark didn't take at away, you can bank on that. There is only one way to lose your salvation and that is to never be saved in the first place.

In Messiah,

Bob

Blaspeming the Holy Spirit is not done with one simple/stupid comment.

This is a manner of lifestyle and mindset which consistently refuses the conviction of the Holy Spirit unto repentance and reconciliation with God.

A comment like yours was done in ignorance and not a continual trangression.

Besides if your a child of Satan you wouldn't be seeking out fellowship with the children of Light and Truth=Christ.

Keep sight for the Son

KnightofGod,

Just passing by and wanted to comment about your statement of being born again several times.

But first let me add to what raysnchrist commented about the Light and Truth. When you bring things like this up you are essentially coming to the Light.

When Jesus was speaking with Nicodemus in John 3:19-21, He talked about evil men and that they hated the light and did their deeds in darkness lest their deeds be exposed. Secrecy is a mark of evil.

You on the other hand have brought your deed to the light of day and it is no longer hidden, and therefore forgiven by Christ, because He is the Light.

A most important point is that we are born again of the Spirit one time only, if this were not so we would be creatures of multiple personalities and traits.

Paul writes of this in Hebrews 6:4, "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame."

Now he is speaking to those who would teach another doctrine. But not taking that out of context, Paul continues in verse 9, "But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.

And then he goes on to speak of God's immutable oath to us to lay hold of the hope we have as an anchor of the soul, eternal salvation through Jesus Christ, our High Priest.

Scripture says that there is only one unforgivable sin: Blaspheming the Holy Ghost.
There is much debate on this point as to whether or not the circumstances that lead to this sin are even possible at this time.
But, either way, the fact that your conscience hasn't been seared is all the proof you need to know that you haven't committed this 'unforgivable sin'. If you had, you wouldn't have even asked the question, because you wouldn't care...

This is a great example of something that could just as easily be satire as sincere.
