quote:
ORIGINAL: Oberdan You're not. None of us are, here in America. Our country was conquered without an army, without bloodshed, without one shot fired in 1913 with the help of a traitorous President named Woodrow Wilson. Even though a few years later he gave a speech of regret, how he unwittingly ruined America, those with an anti-American agenda have been trying to erase that speech from History, which even now some 'Historical Experts' are now falsely believing that Wilson never gave that speech. I know he did. My grandfather wouldn't lie about things like that. It was a radio address he remembered for the rest of his life and my father, who was taught to never forget it, made sure I myself never forgot such a speech was made. Thank you Dad, for not just leaving me to the mercy of public education and for schooling me in things that happened in your day. Back to this Freedom thing. Think you have it still and Oberdan is full of corroded pipe lime? Try this on for size. Try and live one week without using your 'numbers' that has been assigned to you. Drive without your numbers. Work and not have your wages reported to those numbers. Try and get on a plane or even a Greyhound bus without your numbers for a trip to where ever you want. Surprise. You can't. Or you'll be penalized, ticketed, and more than likely jailed. Don't really do this folks, I don't want to be blamed for your legal problems if you're 'caught' trying to live without your numbers. There are only two types of people who can't exist without being numbered. Slaves and prisoners. So, the question is simple. Which one of these two are we, if not both? This is all nonsense. Before SS# peoples names where used the exact same way. As the population increased this simply became impracticable. No is or ever was completely free in any organized society, before or after 1913. The founding fathers were not anymore free than any of us. Probably less so due to societal constraints. Certainly their wives were far less free then any of us.
